- Always remember to eat more than just your greens kids, or you will look like uncle Thomson here…hahaha, Thomo :)x
- Scott’s lower half showing just how rock bottom his image is with one sock on and some luck charm pyjamas leading the way to the $2 a night air conditioning unit…A FAN. Our savior and forgotten friend which looked after us during our first week in Bangkok!
- Great sarong, average room, shite haircut…come on Bangkok!
- Is this foot irregular…Comments in the box below please !!!!!
- What a great picture to encapsulate the natural features of a plastic red stool! Cheers Scotty
- Thousands of Thai flags are suspended over a 500m street at the top of Khaosan road
- This is the spot where a Thai local couldn’t hold it in any longer and went to the toilet on this section of pavement. Pretty gross considering it was 11am with packed streets
- Just a sneaky internal view of a typical street cafe/canteen in and around Khaosan Road
- Abusing the free Wi-fi with a hangover on Khaosan Road, attempting to drink a pineapple juice which was about a dollar! Bargain
- This photo was taken for our friend Fawn, aka David Miller, aka The Gibbon!
- A Thai boxing ring, minus the ass kicking!
- Getting excited about our first Tuk Tuk experience in Bangkok. The drivers are crazy!
- A sneaky photo of a temple from a the street before going in for a closer look.
- Worst outfit ever from the notoriously bad dresser Thomo. And to think he brought it in to the temple, a place of worship
- Awkward stance and creepy smile being sported by Scotty here in the temple grounds. Peter Pan wants his trousers back too mate when you get a chance
- An attempt at an arty photo with Thomo checking out the impressive stature of the golden Buddha in Bangkok. Better camera clearly needed here ha
- Scotty’s best pose with the golden Buddha in Bangkok
- The golden Buddha in Bangkok without either of us wrecking the photo
- Buddhas everywhere with an array of bright colors and offerings like water and food. It’s fascinating to see just how cherished Buddha is in Thailand. Remember to take off your shoes when you are walking around!
- Immaculate conditions within the shrine area of the temple grounds in Bangkok
- Desperate attempt to remedy my swollen mosquito bitten foot in Bangkok.
- Slightly blurry photo of our first hostel room, The Apple Guest House, in Bangkok.
- Made a mess of my new bed at The Apple Guest House, Bangkok.
- Silhouette photo, Apple Guest House, Bangkok.
- The swivel fan in our Bangkok hostel room, nothing like 4 seconds of air before it moves on!!!
- I managed to squeeze my swollen foot into a fairly tight shoe…..thought it might reduce the swelling.
- Close up of my disgusting sweaty swollen foot!
- The quiet path that leads from the Apple Guest House up to the hustle and bustle of the streets of Bangkok.
- The start of a nice little Twat Tan and some ominous looking brown stain!
- Taken in a restaurant in Bangkok early in the day. Give it a few hours and most places like this will be rammed with people enjoying food and drinks.
- Look at me everyone, I can match my genie pants to my stupidly tight vest and Tracey Beaker haircut.
- An example of what you might find on a typical menu in Bangkok.
- I can only assume this is a picture of Ian’s food as he has stuck chopsticks in to make it look as if he can use them….shame he didn’t remember to remove the other cutlery at the back!!!
- I only wish I knew what this was, but you can rest assure that is a side plate of rice…it is Thailand after all!
- A little glimpse of the back streets of Bangkok.
- An example of the of the street vendor setup you can find on the streets of Bangkok.
- A heavy downpour mid to late afternoon in Bangkok.
- Come rain or shine people have to eat!
- There’s only so many times I can call Thomo a tw#t before I have to give up and live with him wearing sunglasses indoors!
- Thomo opted for green tea in the hope it would detox the numerous Chang beers he had consumed the night before….this may have worked if it wasn’t followed by 8 more Chang’s.
- Our vegetarian friend Amanda introduced us to this ridiculously spicy Thai salad. It is very popular in Thailand and you will be able to find it on most menus. Can you stomach it though? Course you can ;)
- Another of Scotty’s meals where all the portion sizes are accurate. OCD example. Scotty you seriously need to try something different and that means a meal that you can’t divide in two, three or four sections. Try soup mate!!!
- Scotty’s foot after the bandage has been taken off. The swelling is still there with little bruising so as I’m sure he would vouch for ‘Always use antihistamines’…Not happy how close it is to my new sarong though haha
- What you can expect as the next meal up from the standard and cheapest street food in a wok. I think this particular bad boy weighed in at $2.50 but tasted like at least $4.60 ;)
- Nice tatt BRO…Scotty demonstrating how well the British tan with his little off the shoulder number he is sporting complete with Russell Brand style detailing swinging around his neck in the form of shoelaces and headless toy soldiers which he crafted in his bedroom whilst dealing Warhammer cards online. This is a photo taken from a cafe off Khaosan Road which is only accessible via a seedy clothing chain store/back-alley slum pit. Awesome.
- Eat like a king for $3 in Khaosan Road
- Poorly executed photo from the back of a tuk tuk in Bangkok. Capturing jack shit…Sorry
- A slightly better photo from the ride in a speeding tuk tuk in Bangkok. Notice how calm the driver’s face in in the internal mirror….Legend with no fear
- Fried ginger with chicken at the cracking price of $1.80 ish. Massive portion too as well as tasting fantastic
- These little gems are the Thai equivalent of either Tiger Balm or Vicks Vapour and provide instant relief for the blocked nose. Don’t abuse them like I did and use the bottom of the inhaler, which is the fluid form and stick it too close to your eye. It bloody stings…
- Scotty showing off his new St Tropez tan but for some reason is disappointed. Personally I think he looks well cool!! It brings out his eyes
- Scotty taking a crafty power nap in our first hostel on our adventure. 3pm and humid as hell, why not take a nap. I was drinking a Leo beer during this photo due to it being far too humid for me to sleep
