Behind With The Times…But Welcome To Laos

Ok so it appears I have neglected to write anything for a while and Ian has monopolised the writing. It would be easy for me to make up some excuse like’ he is a loser and spends all the time on the internet’ where as I am socialising, but the realistic fact would be I have just completely forgotten! That’s not to say I haven’t been preoccupied with ‘something’ else but that would be another story.

So in the interest of doing an update that takes no time at all I will keep this breezy. We have a lot to write about with regards to Chiang Mai but as I’m currently sitting on the floor next to a power socket in Laos, next to 2 girls who are suffering from severe identity/bank card issues. I should only say, Chiang Mai was amazing. We were luckyenough to meet some amazing people, shout out to Ciara, Grainne (aka Roxy) and Sean, we had some great times. It was a bit all over the shop as I would have loved to have met up with my good friends Chris (Thorpe) and Kelly, but even though we were in the same small city/town we couldn’t seem to coordinate ourselves to actually reach meeting points on time. Big love to Chris and Kelly and hopefully we will catch up in Laos. Obviously that means very little to everyone else but if anything it is a suggestions that Chiang Mai can be a crazy place if you enjoy a good tipple.

I will defiantly start pulling my weight with regards to blogging (and in my defence I have become in charge of photography, even though we still haven’t uploaded many) so I’ll be back soon…….!

Love Scotty x

About Scotty

Neurotically moaning my way around the world I aim to experience as much as I can and escape traditional British living. Travelling with my best friend Thomo (I hate him really), I hope to share my experiences with you, while constantly ripping on Ian and belittling myself. Should make for some fun times. (Circa 2012)Now older, fatter & somewhat wiser, I find myself sucked back into the 9-5 grind. With new responsibilities, but a never dwindling love for travel, I strive to regain the life I wanted, with my son and partner in toe...........is it possible to get the prefect mix? We shall see.
