Pietrapertosa, Italy – Gallery

Located in national park this is a beautiful village to visit high in the hills/mountains of southern Italy. One or two cafes and bars complement the views and general ambience of this place. You can walk up to the castle or take the "Flying Angel" 1.5 km zip wire to the village on the opposite side of the gorge....spectacular and we visited out of season so in season this would be superb.

Florence, Italy – Gallery

For many, this is the artistic centre of Italy and the whole renaissance period...to me my interest was on exactly this but we were unfortunate to be plagued by torrential rain on the days we were there...still certainly worth the visit but it would have been nicer to be sat al fresco surrounded by beauty...we did try but it wasn't quite the same!!
